Send Todd to blog and videocast from the G20 Summit in London

by Todd Lucier on March 6, 2009

50 Bloggers are being invited to be the eyes, ears and voice of the people at the G20 Global Summit in London, UK next month. I’d like to represent you.

Send me to London to deliver news from the G20 Summit.

I have been engaged in helping the tourism industry make use of the Web for almost a decade. However, my principle contribution at G20 in London UK will be toward environmental climate-focused outcomes from the G2 London Summit.

I have a firm grasp of emerging social media having:

  • I was especially inpsired by @Loic’s conversation with Kofi Annon at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
  • broadcasted video from my live Tourism Keys training events online
  • Using Seesmic for instant videocasting and Qik for live iphone broadcasting
  • blogging and podcasting and videocasting regularly at http://www.tourismkeys.ca/blog
  • I also have a pretty loyal Twitter following and regularly discuss the future of journalism on regular #journchat conversations.

My environmental focus includes:

  • hosting guests at our solar powered nature retreat in Ontario Canada for over 12 years.
  • delivering Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth Message throughout Ontario, Canada via multiple training sessions with Mr. Gore in Montreal and Nashville (upcoming).
  • Multiple training sessions in sustainability and technology with the Gros Morne Institute for Sustainable Tourism.
  • Helping with technology and broadcasting and social media planning for www.FireandIce.com ceremony and International climate event on Greenland July, 2008.

Please take a moment and nominate Todd to be your eyes, ears and voice in London.
