About
This Web site is designed to be a place for people who are choosing action in meeting the climate challenge in their community, region or country. It is a place to plan gatherings and community events; a place to share ideas and celebrate one anothers’ stories.
One person at a time, grow a community of appreciation and action in your community. If you have ideas on what would make this Web site a better resource for Climate Change Projects or if you would like to help maintain this site drop Todd a note. He would be happy to incorporate your ideas and add you to the writers list!
April 4-6, 2008, over 200 Canadian leaders, gathered in Montreal, Canada to learn from and be inspired by Mr. Al Gore. They are stepping into his shoes to deliver the powerful slide presentation An Inconvenient Truth to Canadian audiences as volunteer presenters of The Climate Project Canada.
In addition to Mr. Al Gore and a number of other luminaries from Canadian scientist and science communicator David Suzuki, adventure biologist Jean Lemire and his recent journey to Antarctica to document climate change effects, and adventure runner Ray Zahab who accomplishes seemingly impossible athletic adventures (like running across the Sahara Desert!) in order to inspire and educate the world’s youth regarding environmental issues and their social impact through Impossible2Possible.
Inspired about sustainability? Have you been moved by this powerful presentation delivered by Mr. Al Gore or one of the other 2000 committed presenters of An Inconvenient Truth and The Climate Project? This Web site is designed to be a meeting place for concerned citizens to gather and plan local events that focus on meeting the climate change challenge head-on.
